First Report of SARS-CoV-2 Gamma Variant in Turkey

Keeping track of SARS-CoV-2 variants concern (VOC) is crucial to inform public health efforts and limiting the ongoing pandemic. Here, we describe first detection P.1 lineage in Turkey. The fact that new can be detected every geography world indicates need for more whole genome sequencing order better understand virus dynamics take earlier action.
